God has since moved onto mastering LOLcat.

Grizzard may seem like an aberration, but there are plenty of others like him spread across the Bible Belt. Somehow the KJV has become as inerrant as the Pope, if not more so. The Quakers warned against that sort of idolatry way back in the late 1600s, with the founder, George Fox, pointing out that paying a few shillings for a book contradicted the entire "Holy Book" meme. (I paraphrase.) Of course, not many people listened then to Fox's admonishment, and I doubt Pastor Grizzard would, either. The Quakers (and there are some in North Carolina) are probably on his list of heretics, right there with the Mormons, the Catholics and the Presbyterians.

What's weird is that the KJV was written specifically for the Church of England, yet modern pentecostals/fundamentalists have embraced the translation as their own.

"My God is capable of doing whatever he chooses to do, but it seems that many so called "scholars" today has a god that doesn't know any language other than Greek, Hebrew, and Latin."

I can has a god?

Sorry, couldn't resist. Maybe Grizzard's English-speaking God can divinely inspire him with how to correctly conjugate "to have". Then again, his God apparently only spoke English until 1611 and then lost that ability.
